For Bitcoin miners on a budget, one of the best Bitcoin mining rigs is the Antminer T9 +. It can be fetched a lot cheaper than most of the other devices on this list. However, don't let the price tag fool you - it's still a decent machine.

While that won't impress serious Bitcoin miners, your ease in setting up this kit, along with an affordable price tag will make it a great unit for those looking to get started in the world of Bitcoin mining.


Unfortunately, like most of our units in this guide for Bitcoin mining hardware, the Avalon6 doesn't come with a power supply of its own. These are sold separately.


There is an option to purchase the unit itself directly from Canaan Creative, but this is only for bulk orders. Luckily, you can pick them up in smaller order sizes for around $ 650 each from here.

Apart from being great for beginners, the Avalon6 is great hardware for those who want to mine Bitcoin without making a profit. This may sound strange at first, but there are very good reasons why people want to mine Bitcoin without making a profit.


Simply put, the more mining units on a cryptocurrency network, the safer the network will be. Bitcoin's robustness stems from decentralization. Antminer S9 - Next Best Thing for DragonMint T1


As the DragonMint T1 was so popular, manufacturers struggled to keep up with their demands. For that reason, I decided to include some other Bitcoin mining hardware that is almost as good.


If you are a serious miner and can't use DragonMint T1, don't worry. A unit like the Antminer S9 will produce almost the same hashing power.


Like the other Antminer units I have included in this guide, the S9 is equipped with Bitmain's BM1389 chip. However, unlike the others, this monster had 189 tails. At the time it was created, this made it the highest hashing unit on the planet. While it can no longer claim to be the best in terms of hash rate, at 14 TH / s, it's close to the DragonMint T1.


The Antminer S9 cools itself using a special heat sink. It is constructed using high grade aluminum alloy. It also uses two high speed fans on either end of the device. This ensures that hot air is quickly removed and replaced.


Being a Bitcoin mining rig with a high hashing rate, you would think building one would be a nightmare. However, that was not the case. The Antminer S9 has the same user-friendly interface that most of the Bitmain miners use. This lets you quickly adjust settings and upgrade the firmware as needed.
